Return to in-person learning!

May 25th, 2021

Dear Parents and Families,

As you know, the Minister of Education has announced that all students may return to in-person learning on Tuesday, May 25th.  All of the staff at Elm Street are VERY excited to see our students again.

To prepare for your child’s return, we would appreciate your support in reminding them that COVID precautions remain in place.

Those restrictions, as they pertain to students, are:

  • Students remain seated, according to their seating plan on the bus.
  • Students in Grades 4-6 must be masked while on the bus.

  • Students must hand sanitizer as they enter the building.
  • Social distancing is always encouraged, weather masked or unmasked.

  • For students in Grade 4-6, masks must be worn in common areas of our school.  Students in grade 4-6 may unmask while seated, but only at the teacher’s direction/discretion.

  • Students in ELP/to Grade 3 MAY choose to wear a mask.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these precautions, or students returning to school, please reach out to Mr. Flieger or Ms. Weisgerber.
