Elm Street School

School handbook (link)

Elm Street School is one of the oldest schools in Medicine Hat, completed in 1911.

Elm Street School is  a place of possibilities. With small classes sizes and small teacher to student ratio, staff at Elm Street do their best each day to create exciting and meaningful learning experiences for all students.

Students from Grades 3-6 at Elm Street enjoy the use of 1:1 Chromebooks to support learning. In addition, Elm Street School also has a large Maker Space for the use of all students, complete with a 3D printer and other technologies.

Our school enjoys the support of the River Flats community  as well as many community groups and organizations. Through these supports, Elm Street School offers a free breakfast and snack program. Elm Street also enjoys the support of the Alberta School Nutrition Program, which provides a free, hot and balanced lunch to each child every day.
